Managing Partner
Rob Gryba
Rob entered the Oilpatch in 1986 rebuilding bottom hole pumps and peddling rope, soap and dope in a supply store in Rainbow Lake. That led Rob to working in Materials Management/Purchasing for Dome Petroleum, Canterra Energy and Husky Oil where he moved to a corporate position in Calgary in 1990. Next stop was taking a position commencing the Production equipment division of Platinum Grover (Platinum Energy Services) in 1993 eventually becoming the president and guiding the significant growth of the company. Rob’s passion for New, reconditioned and surplus production equipment led to many great relationships and experiences and eventually co-founding RARE Oilfield Services in 2010.
Rob keeps busy away from the office with his wife and three daughters and their involvement with hockey, lacrosse, music and things that he doesn’t understand like decorating, shopping & style! Rob is a long-time coach with Okotoks Minor hockey having been lucky enough to coach all three of his daughters.

Mike Rideout
Mike is a seasoned sales professional with over two decades of experience and known for his exceptional leadership and customer-centric approach. His career began at Labatt Breweries in 2001, where he spent six years developing his sales and leadership capabilities. In 2007, he successfully transitioned to the energy sector, joining Paintearth Energy Services. His role as Team Lead continued through Flint Energy's acquisition in April 2010, demonstrating his adaptability and consistent performance through organizational changes. Since November 2011, Mike has been advancing his expertise in oil and gas equipment sales at RARE.
Throughout his career, Mike has built a strong professional reputation founded on honesty and transparency. His genuine passion for people and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction have been key drivers of his success. He approaches each client relationship with dedication, ensuring their needs are exceeded.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mike is all about family time. He shares his life with his wife, two children, and their Boxer-Pitty rescue pup. He coaches his daughter's hockey team and attends every one of his son's soccer games, proving his dedication to his family, as well as the job of raising good humans. On holidays and long weekends, Mike is found at their cabin in the woods, escaping the work world and enjoying time at the lake. His balance between professional drive and family dedication exemplifies Mike's well-rounded approach to life and leadership.

Tyler Hebblethwaite
Tyler started his career in the oil and gas industry in 2003 with EnviroVault. He gained extensive experience with tanks, tank related products and specialized in developing & successfully bringing to market innovative products for the upstream energy sector.
Tyler joined the RARE team in 2014 where he has been able to expand his knowledge of different products and new applications. He has learned that hard work, honesty, and integrity are the cornerstones of earning and maintaining respect in the industry. He is committed to looking after the needs of his customers and getting the job done correctly.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing ball, and coaching his kids sports teams.

Sales
Tom Kaluzny
Tom has spent his entire working career in sales, marketing, and sales management. He grew up in a small town until he was 20 years of age, at which point he decided to move to Calgary–where he immediately took to the city’s culture and business environment.
For the first half of his career, Tom worked in the Calgary printing industry before moving on to oil and gas sales. He quickly acclimatized to the industry’s culture and reputation for integrity and hard work. Tom’s experience ranges from providing oilfield services to drilling, completions and production operations, as well as providing manufactured modular workforce housing to the industry.
Tom is incredibly family-oriented, especially now with his grandkids. He has loved being able to coach kids for many years, as well as support the many causes the oil and gas industry has inspired him to. Such as the oil patch hockey tournament he orchestrated in order to raise funds for Cancer research.
